Pace stroll to title in style
Pace Pumas strolled to the Red League title in style this week as they hammered Hythe Striker Spitfires 15-1. Ryan Chester did most of the damage scoring nine, whilst Callum Hine added a hat-trick and George Terry a brace.
Having secure the title the Pumas were then brought down to earth as Alresford Town A edged past them 2-1 Jimmy Hawkings scoring both of the Alresford goals, which ensured them of third spot behind Colden Common B on goal difference.
Alresford also came away with a 3-1 win over a battling Bitterne Terriers, Oliver Cook scoring two for the Town.
Littleton Lions secured back to back victories over Winsor to guarantee them fourth spot. The Lions recorded 6-1 then 5-0 wins with Ronan Smith and Tom Steggall each scoring a hat- trick.
Michelmersh & Timsbury ended their campaign with a goal-less draw against Townhill Emperors and a 4-0 victory over Sarisbury Sparks, Connor Osborn grabbing all four goals against the Sparks.
The Sparks faired better against Whiteley Juniors, holding them to a 1-1 draw. Townhill finished their season off with a win, coming from 2-0 down to eventually emerge as 4-2 victors over Botley Village Green. Clayd Roach scoring two for the winners and Wyatt Brennan doing likewise for Botley.
