Wasps sting Nimrods as Jack Frost bites
The frost caused a number of cancellations before the White League finally got under way with a top of the table clash between third placed Warsash Wasps Red and second placed Hedge End Nimrods. The Wasps closed the gap on their opponents by securing a 2-0 victory.
Elsewhere Itchen Boys consolidated their fourth position with narrow wins over Hiltingbury and Hedge End Scorpions. Hiltingbury went on to secure a 1-1 draw with Bashley and the Scorpions had a Michael Field brace to thank for a 2-1 victory over Baddesley Park.
