St Francis take White League title
St Francis Rangers took the White League title this week with games to spare as they put on a fine second half display to sink Warsash Wasps Red 5-1, Peter Thatcher and Matt Smith scoring two apiece for the Rangers. The Rangers then went on to their first defeat of the season as Bashley battled to a 1-0 victory.
It was not a good day for the Wasps as they also went down 1-0 Baddesley Park to deal a severe blow to their aspirations for the runners up spot. Itchen Boys also slipped up going down 2-0 to Hedge End Scorpions, having ealier beaten Earls 4-0 with Josh Noyce scoring twice.
The Scorpions completed a good day with a 4-0 win over Littleton Leopards, Michael Field scoring three. The Leopards did pick up a point as they shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Earls, despite being a player short.
Colden Common B picked up their first double win of the season, with a 2-1 defeat of AFC Hiltingbury and a 3-2 victory over Baddesley Park where Jack Eccles scored twice.
