Scorpions have sting in tail for champions
Champions St Francis Rangers manager Mark Simpkin was full of praise for Hedge End Scorpions who by all accounts thoroughly deserved their 1-0 win over the champions. The Scorpions completed a good final day with a 4-0 win over Earls.
Bashley also finished the season in style edging out Baddesley Park 1-0 having earlier seen off Littleton Leopards 3-1 thanks to a regal brace from Prince Tamuka Mafunga. It was no such story for Tadburn Panthers who fell to a Jamie Benjamin double in Earls 2-0 win and a Matt Smith hat-trick as they lost out 5-1 to the champions St Francis. Andrew Bonnon also finished off with a hat-trick as AFC Hiltinbury outplayed neighbours Baddesley Park in a 4-0 win.
