Jets forced to put champagne on Ice
Following their 9-1 thumping of St Francis Rovers, Hythe Jets needed just one point against Ice Sports to secure the Yellow League title. the Icemen proved to be party poopers however as they battled to a surprise 2-1 victory and gave the Jets their first defeat of the season. With three games remaining the Jets are still odds on favourites for the title but there is still a close battle between Fawley Falcons, BA Juniors and Ice for the runners up spot.
BA were held to a goal-less draw with Wyvern Devils whose improved form of late also saw them past Oakwood Cobras 2-0. Oakwood didn't go home empty handed however as they put five past St Frances Rovers without reply. The remaining fixtures were cancelled because of frozen pitches in the earlier part of the day.
