AFC TOTTON celebrated a magnificent seventh straight home league win at the Testwood Stadium tonight, humbling south coast rivals Weymouth 5-2 in the Southern Premier Division.
Ex-Salisbury striker Ben Joyce twice fired the Terras into a first-half lead, but the Stags, who had replied through Richard Gillespie, went goal crazy after the break.
Ryan Hill levelled matters just after the hour with a viciously struck free-kick before substitute Luke Whitley scored with a screaming cross-shot from the right touchline.
Gillespie played the ball inside for James Coutts to tuck home Totton’s fourth and Baily Cargill completed the rout by shooting across the ’keeper from ten yards.
The Stags are up to seventh, level on points with sixth-placed Gosport who won 2-1 at Barwell (Woodward, Smith).
