AFC TOTTON will kick off the Southern One South & West season with back-to- back away games.

Steve Riley’s young Stags – relegated from the Premier Division last term – open their campaign at Clevedon Town on Saturday, August 9 followed by a trip to promoted Hellenic League champions Wantage Town the following Tuesday.

Their first home game is against Yate Town on Saturday, August 16.

On Bank Holiday Monday, August 25, Totton renew old rivalries with neighbours Sholing, who return to the Southern League ranks on the crest of a Sydenhams Premier/FA Vase double.

That first meeting is at the Testwood Stadium with the return being the highlight of the festive season on Boxing Day at Portsmouth Road.

Sholing begin away, visiting Gloucestershire outfit Shortwood on August 9.

The Boatmen’s next two games are both at the Silverlake Arena – against old friends North Leigh on the Wednesday and Stratford Town on the Saturday.

Sholing’s New Year’s Day fixture is away to a Bashley side now under the joint management of Andy Darnton and Graham Speechley-Price. Totton welcome in 2015 at home to a Fleet side managed by their former player Craig Davis.
