SYDENHAMS League new boys Salisbury will close their pre-season calendar with the visit of AFC Totton.

The Stags will return to the Ray Mac, after April's 2-2 stalemate, on Saturday, August 1 – a week before the new Wessex season starts.

“We were grateful to Totton for coming for our first game back in the Ray Mac and it’s nice they will be our last before we’re back in league action,” said Whites manager Steve Claridge.

“We have some big home games against Bristol Rovers, Bournemouth and Eastleigh to whet the supporters’ appetites and this one is part of the blend as a game that will give us a good test of where we are as a team and squad.

“Totton are a Southern League South & West Division club, one step above us and where we aspire to be in going for promotion, so I will know a lot more about my players after that.”
