EASTLEIGH FC have increased their amount of London-based players to SEVEN with a double signing on the eve of their glamour friendly with Saints.

The Spitfires will be left hoping the train takes the strain after snapping up capital-based ex-Fisher pair Chris Piper and Anthony Riviere.

Eastleigh are happy to increase their amount of Londoners despite letting defender Tarkan Mustafa leave partly because he was late for training a few times after getting caught up in traffic while driving down from London!

"We're not worried about the commuting," said Eastleigh football manager Paul Doswell, with regards to the club's twice weekly training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

"The lads have bought railcards and will be getting the train down together from Waterloo.

"We'll pick them up from the station and they'll be in for training at 7pm.

"If we finish training at around 9pm, they should be back in Waterloo by 10.30pm."
