Eastleigh are expecting a record attendance for their next home game.
Macclesfield Town’s BT-televised visit next Saturday (kick off 12.45pm) is nearing a 3,500-plus sell-out, with more than 3,000 tickets sold.
Community sponsor Compass Vehicle Leasing has bought 2,000 tickets for local junior football teams and thousands of blue-and-white banners, balloons and flags have been given out ahead of the official opening of the Mackoys Community Stand.
Parking will be available for £2 at Lower Hardmoor Sports Ground and for a fee yet to be decided at Stoneham Park and The Concorde Club car parks (a small fee will apply), with pedestrian access provided from each.
A club spokesman said: “With only around 500 tickets left to sell - away allocation is still available and needs to be paid for on the gate - we advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.”
Tickets can be bought at the club shop (open 9-5, Mon-Fri) or by calling 02380 613 361.
