Dan Walker has signed for Eastleigh's National League rivals Aldershot Town after his loan spell at the Silverlake Stadium last season.
The 25-year-old arrived at on Stoneham Lane in late January on a temporary deal from Braintree until the end of the season.
The attacking midfielder played 13 games and scored two goals for the Spitfires as they reached the play-offs.
“Hopefully with the new manager and new squad we can give the club the fresh start that it needs,” said Walker, as he signed a one year contract at The Shots, who finished 18th last term.
“Everyone knows this is a big club, and that it has underachieved recently, because a club this size should be pushing for promotion. Hopefully this is the season where Aldershot Town can push on."
