CHRIS Todd has chosen vastly experienced Shaun North as his right-hand man at Eastleigh.
The pair met each other when they were at Torquay United together – Todd as a player and North as assistant manager.
Having built himself a fine coaching reputation at Portsmouth, North has been assistant manager at Bristol Rovers and reserve team boss at Oxford United.
He was under-21 development coach for AFC Wimbledon, first team coach at Cheltenham Town and more recently left his role as academy manager at Tom Widdrington's Eastbourne Borough.
Earlier in his career North played for several Isle of Wight clubs as a defender, including Newport and Cowes Sports.
He has worked locally for Gosport Borough and also did some coaching at Weymouth when Steve Claridge was manager.
