EASTLEIGH will pay their own special Remembrance Day tribute ahead of Saturday's National League game against FC Halifax Town at the Silverlake Stadium.

Members of the Royal British Legion will be present throughout the afternoon, along with RAF veterans and personnel, members of The Armed Forces and guests from the Fire and Rescue Service.

The Spitfire Marching Band will play in front of the main stand from 2.20pm and, prior to kick-off, three wreaths will be laid and a bugler will sound the last post before a two-minute silence.

The teams will then shake hands with some of the afternoon’s guests of honour, including RBL veteran Norman Brown, Eastleigh MP Mims Davies and The Mayor of Eastleigh Councillor Jane Welsh.

Fans will be welcomed into the ground by fire light entertainment from The Flame and there will be a magician meeting and greeting supporters around the Silverlake Stadium.

Eastleigh’s players will sport a poppy motif on their shirts which will afterwards be on sale for £50 with all profits going towards The Poppy Appeal. To reserve one of the 17 shirts, to be made available on a first come first serve basis, contact Kenny on 023 8061 3361 or email kamor@eastleighfc.com
