THE generosity of Eastleigh chairman Stewart Donald knows no bounds.

The Spitfires chief will donate a percentage of the TV money due in for next Friday’s big FA Cup first round tie against Swindon Town to subsidise supporters’ travel to their following four away games in the National League.

Eastleigh are in line for a £67,500 broadcast fee for the Swindon match which goes out on BBC2 at 7.55pm on November 4.

Some of that money will go towards ensuring fans can travel to their next four away fixtures – at Gateshead (November 19), Aldershot Town (November 22), Maidstone United (November 29) and Southport (December 17) - for a flat rate price of just £10 per person.

With Christmas fast approaching, Eastleigh are acutely aware that supporters’ budgets will be tight.

Donald said: “I feel this may help our loyal travelling fans to attend as many away games as possible during what will be an expensive time of year for the fan base."

Tickets for the Swindon FA Cup tie are priced £15 adults, £10 concessions (over-65s, disabled, students) and £5 juniors (under-16s).

Eastleigh fans can purchase them from the club shop/offices, online at https://eastleighfc.cloudvenue.co.uk/ or by calling 023 8061 3361.

Swindon Town have initially been allocated 1,000 tickets in the Mackoy Community Stand.
