EASTLEIGH fell at the first hurdle in the FA Trophy yesterday.
The Spitfires suffered stoppage-time heartbreak in a 2-1 first round defeat away to National League rivals Ebbsfleet United.
Danny Kedwell gave the hosts the lead against the run of play in the 78th minute, but justice seemed to have been done when Cav Miley levelled with a clever header just two minutes later.
There was a nasty sting in the tail for the Spitfires, however, when Myles Weston struck for Ebbsfleet three minutes into added time.
