MANAGER Andy Hessenthaler will return for pre-season training at Eastleigh as a World Cup winner.
The 52-year-old former Watford and Gillingham midfielder was part of the England Veterans squad that won the 2018 Seniors World Cup in Thailand over the weekend.
Having dispensed with Iran 4-0 in the semi-finals, England repeated the trick against Scotland in the final at the Hua Hin Stadium.
Leading by a Mark Saunders goal at half-time, the Three Lions ran away with it after the break with further goals from Jason Price, Lee Elam and Steve Jones.
As part of the trip, Hessenthaler and his teammates attended a Football for Kids event, meeting and coaching children from local Hua Hin schools before presenting them with kit donated by English clubs - including Eastleigh.
