Pompey debut turns sour for ex-Saint
5:20pm Tuesday 1st January 2013 in Football League
DAVID CONNOLLY
Ex-Saints striker David Connolly suffered a miserable debut for Pompey at Swindon this afternoon.
The ex-Republic of Ireland international was introduced in the 64th minute with his new side 1-0 down.
Pompey ended up being thrashed 5-0 in Wiltshire, with Swindon sub James Collins scoring four of the goals.
Amazingly, the score was 0-0 when Collins was introduced to the action on the hour mark!
Pompey have now lost nine of their last 12 League 1 games, drawing the other three.

They are trying for more history... the longest streak without winning!
My biggest hope is Saints to stay up and Poopey get relegated (again)

doesn't look very likely right now. the only winners out of that sad sorry saga down the road are PKF.
always wondered why administrators look so well off - now I know. They take companies that are going bust and wring every last penny from them in the name of settling the debts with the creditors. They of course become creditors themselves and I bet they are the only ones who ever get their debt settled in full.
If I were you I wouldn't go near the News site - its full of very bitter, very upset and very angry Skates who are a bit touchy at the moment.
