Mark Gardner netted four times as AFC Stoneham thrashed Bournemouth Sports 6-1 in the Hampshire League Premier Division last night.
Beaten 5-1 on the opening day at newcomers Baffins Milton Rovers, Stoneham – who had been drawing 1-1 at half-time – also scored through Steve Lace and Darren Knox.
Reigning champions Locks Heath also bounced back from an opening day loss to win 2-1 at Paulsgrove.
Matt Northcott and Jordan Neal put them 2-0 up before Louie Jeff replied with his fourth goal in two games.
Paul Marshall struck a hat-trick as Liphook caned Clanfield 5-1. Steve Harding and Matt Connor had put the hosts 2-0 up in 18 minutes, with Elliot Sills replying.
James Eyles scored 10 minutes from time as Otterbourne won 1-0 at Bishops Waltham Town.
Hedge End Rangers twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at QK Southampton.
Sanchez McLean and Nathan Lynch twice put QK ahead, with Aaron Cousens and Gavin Cross levelling before half-time.
Baffins Milton are top of the embryonic table after a 4-0 win at Fleetlands.
Jake Couzens opened the scoring in the first minute with Jason Parish (2) and Dean Harris also netting.
Kaui Parton-Edey netted twice as AFC Aldermaston triumphed 4-1 at Colden Common.
Phil Howard and Kevin Blake also scored as Aldermaston led 3-0 after 15 minutes. Phil Curtis replied on the hour mark.
Goals from Richie McCann (2), Andy Lee and Dean Preston helped Headley beat visiting Liss 4-2, Luke Musselwhite twice replying.
