AFC Stoneham moved to within a point of the Hampshire Premier League’s top three by beating visiting Fleetlands 3-1.

Callum Pragnell struck after just ten minutes, with John Cole and Martin Rogers completing the victory in the last 25 minutes.

In the only other Senior Division game to survive the wet weather, a Richie McCann brace gave Headley a 2-1 home win against Overton.

Oliver Bode put Overton ahead, but McCann levelled before half-time and the same player struck an 80th minute winner.

Shane Vidler belted a hat-trick in the only Division One match played as Broughton thumped rock bottom Andover Lions 7-2.

The second tier’s leading marksman – he now has 16 league and cup goals to his name – struck twice in the first half as Broughton opened up a 4-0 interval lead, with James France-Sergeant and Ben Rankin also netting.

Lewis Alderman and Dan Lang also scored, with Darren Parris (penalty) and Nick Dadds replying.

Ashley Hewer cracked a hat-trick as Cadnam United progressed to the fifth round of the Hampshire Intermediate Cup.

He opened the scoring just after the half hour mark at Whitecroft & Barton Sports, before taking his seasonal tally to 14 with goals in the 78th and 90th minutes.
