Hamble Club’s Hampshire Premier League Senior title charge was put on hold last night after their match with Bush Hill was postponed.

Scott Marchant’s Shell Mex outfit were planning on making ground on leaders Baffins Milton Rovers, but they were laid surplus to thanks to the wet weather.

There were five games that did go ahead, however – all of them draws.

An own goal in the 94th minute saw high-fliers Otterbourne snatch a 2-2 draw from the jaws of defeat at Winchester Castle.

Daryl Phillips and Stuart Findlay had given Castle the lead, but Simon Daunter made it 2-1 with eight minutes to play from the penalty spot, before the own goal levelled it.

QK Southampton are unbeaten in four of their last five after a 2-2 draw at Hedge End Rangers.

Gavin Cross opened the scoring in the fifth minute for the hosts.

That was before a brace from in-form Babucarr Bojang sandwiched a Dave Goble goal in the second period.

There was, at last, a slice of joy for Colden Common.

After ten straight defeats, that has seen them free-fall to just three points from the bottom of the league, Common finally picked up their first point of 2015 in a 2-2 draw at mid-table Overton United.

James Jupp opened the scoring for the home side on 22 minutes, but Luke Dawkins hit straight back six minutes later for Common.

The scoring was wrapped-up before the interval as Chris Lavisher put United back ahead, before Scott Waters struck Colden’s second.

Elsewhere, lower mid-table outfits Fleetlands and Clanfield drew 1-1.

Elliot Sills bagged the equaliser for Clanfield after Barry Snelling had given Fleet a 49th minute lead.
