The title chase in Hampshire Premier League Division 1 will reach boiling point this weekend as the two contenders for the crown go head-to-head in a massive promotion showdown on Saturday.

Second place Netley Central Sports welcome leaders Infinity with just four points separating the two sides and three games left to play.

If Sports have any hope of catching Infinity they must win the crunch game and then rely on their rivals to slip-up in one of their remaining games.

Infinity travel to fellow high-fliers Cadnam United on Easter Monday before their last match against strugglers Upham, as they look to secure promotion.

Meanwhile, Netley have games against two of the division’s stronger teams in Cadnam and Lyndhurst.

Elsewhere, the race for other top spots hots-up as Lyndhurst and Cadnam face-off against each-other in a New Forest derby at Wellands Road.

In the league’s other fixtures, second bottom Michelmersh & Timsbury face a crunch relegation match against bottom side Andover Lions and Upham face third place Four Marks.

In the county top-flight, meanwhile, AFC Stoneham will be planning to continue their push for promotion to the Sydenhams Wessex League as they take on ninth placed Stockbridge at the Pirelli Ground.

Leaders Baffins Milton Rovers welcome top five outfit Liphook and title chargers Hamble Club will be playing rock-bottom Locks Heath.

Elsewhere, Bush Hill take on Headley United, Otterbourne welcome Paulsgrove, Colden Common travel to Liss Athletic, Winchester Castle are at Fleetlands, QK Southampton play Overton United and Hedge End Rangers are at Clanfield.
