AFC Stoneham won the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Cup yesterday.

They produced a superb 2-0 win over league runners-up Baffins Milton Rovers with goals from Luke Musselwhite and John Cole.

Musselwhite opened the scoring a minute before half-time from the penalty spot, with Cole sealing the victory seven minutes from time.

Hedge End Rangers reserves lifted the Hampshire Premier League Combination Cup following a 2-0 success against Liphook.

Mike Hadzidimitriou opened the scoring in the 68th minute, with Jordan Breen adding a second three minutes from time.

Bush Hill sealed a top-five Hampshire Premier League finish at the weekend by hammering third-placed Otterbourne 5-1 in their final match.

Bush, last season’s second tier champions, raced into a 4-1 half-time lead.

Perry Harding scored twice inside the opening 23 minutes, either side of a Tom Wright leveller, before Terry Parker (36) and Dean Laxton (39) put Bush further in command.

Dan Smith netted the only goal of the second half just before the hour mark.

Champions Hamble Club suffered only their fourth defeat of the season when they were beaten 1-0 at home by Headley.

Hamble now face Colden Common in their penultimate league game tomorrow, before Friday’s big Hampshire Intermediate Cup final against Baffins Milton.
