IT’S a washout.
Torrential rain and bad weather conditions have caused football fixtures across Hampshire to be postponed this weekend.
Players and staff were left disappointed when Eastleigh’s game against Barrow FC was called off due to a waterlogged pitch yesterday.
The bad news continued this morning when AFC Totton’s showdown with Southern One South & West leaders Cinderford Town became a victim of poor conditions.
And after showing pictures of a sodden pitch, Sholing FC revealed that its match against Cowes Sports FC had been claimed by the weather.
Romsey Town FC announced at 10.30am that its fixture against Laverstock & Ford FC would not go ahead due to an unplayable pitch.
