ALRESFORD Town have lowly Romsey Town in their sights as they look for the fourth successive win that could put them top tonight.

They will give a late fitness test to Zach Glaspool, whose eighth goal of the season put them on their way to victory at GE Hamble on Saturday, before he was taken to hospital with an arm injury, writes Simon Walter.

A Stuart Green own goal restored parity before the break, but two goals in five second-half minutes ensured the visitors left Follands Park with three points.

Midfielder Simon Everett’s left foot restored their lead following Suharl Odeh’s header back across goal.

And substitute Steve Harding forced the winner in from close range, his 11th of the season, before former Sholing winger Nick Watts hit an injury-time consolation.

Alresford won September’s club-of-the-month award – and are targeting a fourth November win tonight.

Co-manager Danny Robinson said: “We’re on a good run but our captain Simon Everett has a thigh injury and is more of a doubt tonight than Zach, whose arm is a little tender but not broken.”

Meanwhile, GE Hamble will be determine to bounce back from their third successive defeat tonight, away to a Hamworthy United side that has lost four of its last six.
