BLACKFIELD & Langley breezed into the Sydenhams League Cup semi-finals with a 4-1 home win over Newport IoW tonight.

The Watersiders – unbeaten at Gang Warily this term – went 3-0 up through Ekow Elliott (2) and Kevin Gibbens before GC Giancovich pulled one back for the Islanders.

Nathan Lynch had the last word from the penalty spot after Jon Holmes had fouled the lively Elliott.
