TOTTON & Eling manager Kev Dawtry is content to sit on the fence and not rule himself in or out of the vacant Christchurch job, writes WENDY GEE.
Along with Dave Puckett, Dawtry is one of two ex-Saints and AFC Bournemouth players to have been linked with the Priory post following Graham Kemp’s announcement that he is standing down after nearly six years at Hurn Bridge.
“I got a few texts last Thursday saying my name had been mentioned on the Bournemouth Echo Twitter feed but, in all honesty, I haven’t really thought about it,” Dawtry, left, said.
“I haven’t spoken to anyone in an official capacity at Christchurch. “I’m too busy trying to get players out on the pitch for Totton & Eling.
“There’s nothing going on, but obviously you have to consider these things.”
