NON-LEAGUE: NEW signing Brian Stock was chief string-puller for Havant & Waterlooville in Saturday’s 5-0 Conference South win at Farnborough.
The Winchester-born former Bournemouth midfielder, who helped Burnley win promotion to the Premier League last season, excelled on his Hawks debut along with fellow new signing Alan Connell, the ex-Cherries, Swindon and Grimsby striker. All five Havant goals were scored by one-time Farnborough players – Scott Donnelly, Bradley Bubb (2) and JJ Hooper (2).
