MANNY Soetan plundered a debut hat-trick as Lymington Town crushed Sydenhams Premier rivals Horndean 4-0 to avenge their recent FA Vase defeat.
Soetan ensured the tables were dramatically turned at Five Heads Park after the Deans had blitzed Town 5-0 in a Vase replay just 11 days previously.
The former Team Solent, AFC Totton and Bashley frontman, signed from Blackfield & Langley, opened his account following a swift counter-attack midway through the first half. He then doubled the visitors’ lead on the stroke of half-time after intercepting a poor back pass.
Soetan completed the rout after Sam Roberts had made it 3-0 in a second half dominated by John Pyatt’s men, although goalkeeper Stuart Williamson was forced to pull off one great save to preserve his clean sheet.
