Hythe & Dibden player-boss Lee Burch opened the scoring against Downton before Mark Waters hit back in the final ten minutes for a 1-1 draw.
Due to ongoing pitch problems at Hythe’s Clayfields home, that match was played at Blackfield’s Gang Warily ground.
Weather permitting, the tenth-placed Watersiders are due to host second-to-bottom Romsey Town at Clayfields this evening.
