EX-AFC Totton midfielder Ryan Scott is back with Gosport Borough after a season away from Privett Park.
It will be his third spell with the Vanarama National League (Conference) South club.
Scott, who also played for Aldershot and Farnborough, first featured for Borough in 2012 before leaving to take up a managerial post.
He rejoined in 2013/14 and picked up the nickname ‘glory hunter’ when drafted in for the latter stages of Gosport’s FA Trophy run. He left again at the end of that season.
Manager Alex Pike, meanwhile, is hopeful utility man Luke King will soon return to the game after long-term injury, but there are doubts over the future of former Eastleigh and Winchester City skipper and midfielder Danny Smith.
Smith has changed his job and informed the club that work commitments will impact on his availability next term.
