LEE Molyneaux has made the short hop from Gosport Borough to Vanarama National League South neighbours Havant & Waterlooville.
The former Blackfield & Langley player-coach joined Borough in 2011 and made over 100 appearances in yellow and blue.
Paying tribute to the one-time Portsmouth trainee who played for Borough in the 2014 FA Trophy final at Wembley, Gosport boss Alex Pike said of the 32-year-old: “Moly has been a model player at Gosport.
“He’s been a great asset and it’s sad to see him leave Privett. We wish him all the best.
“Although we’re sad to lose him to our close rivals, it shows how far we have come as a club.
“When Lee joined us in 2011, the Hawks would not have entertained signing one of our players”
Molyneaux swaps places with defender Ryan Woodford who left Havant for Gosport last month.
