BROCKENHURST have called off their search for a new manager following a change of heart by Pat McManus.
McManus quit the Sydenhams Premier outfit just over a week ago when informed there would be no budget to work with next season, effectively taking the club backwards.
But Brock were adamant they did not want to lose their manager and have come up with an "action plan" that has persuaded him to stay at Grigg Lane.
A club statement confirmed: "Following a meeting between Brockenhurst FC's chairman, general secretary and Patrick McManus, various issues were discussed and resolved and an action plan agreed to move forward.
"Therefore we are delighted that Patrick has now withdrawn his resignation and will remain as manager for the coming season and we look forward to our first home friendly against AFC Totton on July 14."
