SYDENHAMS Wessex heroes Brockenhurst have been blessed with another home tie in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup.

After dumping out Yate Town, Mangotsfield United and AFC Portchester on home soil, Brock will be hoping to put the Grigg Lane curse on either Wealdstone or Biggleswade Town.

Biggleswade, mid-table in the Southern Premier Division, held higher league Wealdstone, of the National League South, to a 1-1 draw at the Vale Stadium, Ruislip on Saturday. The pair replay tomorrow (Tuesday) at Biggleswade’s Langford Road home.

Blackfield & Langley, the Sydenhams League’s other Cup survivors, have also been drawn at home following Saturday’s staggering 6-1 success at Wimborne Town.

There could be a cracking local tie on the cards if Winchester City win tomorrow’s (Tuesday's) replay at Maidenhead United, with a trip to Blackfield’s Gang Warily ground on offer on Saturday, October 10.

Alex Pike’s Gosport Borough face a tough away tie at fellow National League South high-fliers Whitehawk.
