HOLDERS Team Solent beat QK Southampton 5-1 at Test Park last night to reach the fourth round of the Southampton Senior Cup.
The Southampton Solent University side bounced back from Friday’s 6-0 Sydenhams Premier caning by league leaders Salisbury as goals from Jim Orvis, Martin Johnson (2), Jesse Waller-Lassen and Jemal Wiseman eased them another step towards St Mary's.
QK, who play two tiers down in the Hampshire Premier League, pulled a goal back through Jack Betteridge and their goalkeeper Gary Morrison made some smart saves, including a close-range tip-over to deny Waller-Lassen.
