BROCKENHURST left Victoria Park empty-handed as Connor Doe steered Bournemouth Poppies back on track with a 2-1 Sydenhams Premier win.

After stringing together four straight league victories, Poppies had strayed off course with back-to-back beatings by Blackfield & Langley and Cowes Sports.

But, with Saturday's game deadlocked at 1-1, Doe won it with seven minutes remaining after sterling work from frontman Martin Warren.

The sides had traded blows in the opening 20 minutes with Poppies' former Brock striker Kabba Jack notching his eighth goal in six league outings before Ryan Long drew the Foresters level.

Brockenhurst, down to 15th, tomorrow (Tuesday) visit Bemerton Heath Harlequins, who thrashed Lymington Town 4-0 at Southampton Road through Jack Lovell, Jack Slade, Will Robinson and Sam Griffin.

Leaky Lymo remain eighth, but have worryingly shipped 14 goals in four straight league and cup defeats.

John Pyatt's men go on a revenge mission to Fleet Town tomorrow (Tuesday) in the Hampshire FA Senior Cup quarter-finals. They recently lost 5-3 to Craig Davis's Southern League outfit in the Russell Cotes Cup.
