TEAM Solent could be without 18-goal top scorer Jesse Waller-Lassen for Wednesday's Sydenhams Premier assignment at Verwood.
The former Tottenham Hotspur trainee has been invited back for another trial match with Sky Bet League Two outfit Yeovil Town.
“They’re having a first-team game among themselves on Wednesday and Jesse’s been invited back along with a couple of others,” reported James Taylor, manager of the Southampton Solent University side.
“He went back and did another training session with them last week, his third or fourth one, and they’re still looking at him and deciding where he would fit in.
“It means we’ll probably lose Jesse for the Verwood game and of course we’ll miss him, you always miss a goalscorer.
"But we’ve got a first-year lad, Martin Johnson, who’s come in and done very well and has got six or seven goals already playing up top with Jesse and Tobi Adekunle.”
Johnson hails from Wiltshire and has previously played for Welton Rovers.
