GOSPORT Borough have brought in Truro City goalkeeper Martin Rice as their new first-choice number one.
When highly-rated stopper Nathan Ashmore left for National League South rivals Ebbsfleet in March, manager Alex Pike turned to Reading’s George Legg as temporary loan cover.
Now 30-year-old Rice has become Borough’s second signing of the summer, following striker Chris Flood’s arrival from Basingstoke Town.
Exeter-based Rice spent last season with Truro, having previously played professionally at Torquay United and Exeter City.
