SAM Lanahan has left Blackfield & Langley to join Gosport Borough’s summer signing spree.
The 24-year-old former Dorchester Town player banged in an impressive 24 goals in 31 appearances for Sydenhams Wessex Premier outfit Blackfield last term.
Now Borough boss Alex Pike is backing him to succeed in the Vanarama National League South.
A former Yeovil Town academy player, attacking midfielder Lanahan signed for Dorchester in November 2013 from Pike’s former club Hamworthy United and went on to play Conference South and Southern Premier football.
He reluctantly left the Magpies last summer after starting a new teaching job in Salisbury.
