WINCHESTER City have re-signed goalkeeper Brendan Norris ahead of their game at Swindon Supermarine tomorrow.

The 20 year-old, who left City for Hendon in pre-season, has been restricted to four appearances at the Ryman Premier outfit and was on loan at Farnborough when City re-signed him this week.

City manager Ian Saunders explained: “We’ve only had one goalkeeper all season in Lewis Noyce, who’s been excellent. “We’ve been lucky he hasn’t been injured.

“To have a second keeper gives us more flexibility.”

City are fifth from bottom after losing their last three league games, but won 2-1 at Fleet Town in the FA Trophy last weekend.

“Our league form has been patchy, we haven’t been able to replicate our cup form,” continued Saunders.

“We’ve been decimated by injuries and unavailability. We go from week to week unable to field an unchanged side.

“But we’ve got Danny King back from injury and Dan Simmonds is also available again.”

Swindon have conceded ten goals in their last three games, which include a 3-0 defeat at home to leaders Hereford and a 5-0 FA Trophy drubbing at Taunton.

Saunders saw them draw 2-2 at Salisbury City on Tuesday - having been 2-0 down at half-time.
