MASTER marksman Justin Bennett added another three goals to his bumper collection in Salisbury’s 5-2 home win over Taunton Town this afternoon.

The former Gosport Borough hotshot netted twice in the first-half and completed his hat-trick in stoppage time at the end of the game.

Remarkably he has now scored over 500 career goals.

Lewis Benson also helped himself to a first-half double, giving the Whites a 4-0 half-time advantage in front of a 666 crowd.

Jordan Rogers scored both for Taunton, his first from the penalty spot, but the day belonged to Salisbury who go eighth in the Southern One South & West.

The down side for the Whites was losing Kane O’Keefe to a hamstring injury which could keep him out of action for four to six weeks.

They will also lose Sam Roberts for next Saturday’s trip to Evesham after he picked up his fifth booking of the season.

A new addition to the squad is wide midfielder Mason Walsh.

The 20-year-old son of former England, Liverpool, Portsmouth and Tottenham player Paul Walsh, was previously with the AFC Bournemouth and Aston Villa youth set-ups.
