BROCKENHURST FC’s Grigg Lane ground will once again be taking a break from football to host a music, beer and cider festival later this month.

The successful revival of Brockstock last summer whetted the appetite for more.

This year’s event, being held on May 27/28, will feature a host of live bands, side stalls, tea garden and bars, along with food outlets and plenty of entertainment for all the family.

A vital fundraising event for the club, monies raised last year helped the Sydenhams Wessex League outfit fund new floodlights which were officially switched on in August by ex-Saint Francis Benali.

Entry to Brockstock 2017 is free, but any donations at the gate will go towards an important but costly project to upgrade the club’s electrical systems.

Gates open at 12 noon on both days with live music starting around 1pm.
