Sydenhams Wessex League: Bob Rose funeral arrangements announced
THE funeral of Sydenhams Wessex League treasurer Bob Rose will be held next week.
The league has been advised that the service will take place on Thursday (June 22, 2.15pm) at St Luke's Church, Mildmay Street, Winchester, S022 4BX.
The wake will follow at the Winchester Hotel, Worthy Lane, Winchester SO23 7AB, from 3.30pm.
Bob, who lived in Winchester, passed away late last month following a heart attack.
A true asset to the league, he had been expertly managing SWL finances since taking over from Norman Cook in 1999.
