HAMPSHIRE Premier League side QK Southampton have appointed a three-man management team to spearhead a promotion push for next season.

Following a successful spell as first team caretaker boss, former Romsey Town, Downton and Whitchurch man Nigel Green has been given the nod on a permanent basis.

He will be joined by Hamble Club reserve team bosses Mike Bulman and Parris Virgin to form a three-pronged assault for a top-two finish next term.

Chairman Roy Kingdon said: ''I am over the moon to have secured the services of these three guys.

“Nigel has done extremely well following the departure of Mark Sainsbury and fully deserves the job.

“Mike and Parris expressed a keen desire to join us and Nigel is happy to be working with them.

"I am under no illusions how tough it's going to be next season but, mark my words, we will be right up there come this time next year.''

QK have also submitted plans to Southampton City Council for various ground improvements, including a new ground entrance, car park and hospitality facilities.
