MANCHESTER United manager Louis Van Gaal has insisted he won’t be signing any players before Monday’s transfer window slams shut.
The Old Trafford boss has been continually linked with a move for Saints right back Nathaniel Clyne.
But any pursuit of the England international will have to wait until the 2014/15 season is over.
“No. I read every day that I am interested in players,” the Dutchman told a press conference today.
“I am not interested in players.
“I have said we are selling or letting players go ... but you never trust me.”
Van Gaal confirmed United midfielder Darren Fletcher is on the verge of joining West Ham, while Anderson and Wilfried Zaha have also been linked with moves away.
