Southampton’s David Lloyd is to host an LTA Disability Tennis Festival.
The event, on Thursday, November 15, will see 20-30 people including adults and juniors with a range of disabilities, LTA coaches, volunteers from local clubs and Solent University running a range of modified activities using new modified and adapted equipment suitable for people with any disability.
The Festival launches a new Disability Strategy that the LTA have been working on in Hampshire.
The aim of the strategy is to better understand existing activity and programmes across the county and promote them better in a more targeted manner.
There is also to be a Disability Tennis Festival in Portsmouth working in partnership with Portsmouth FC which has seen similar levels of interest.
