Chess final win for Hampshire
Hampshire won the under 140 graded section of the county championship.
They beat Nottinghamshire 9-7 in the final, with their winners being James Chilton, Robert Davenport, John Symons, Kevin Steele, Chris Smith and John Wiseman. In the Terafinal of the Delancey UK Schools Chess Challenge, Harry Grieve (Yateley Manor) has qualified in the under 13 boys section.
Daniel Atara (Yateley Manor) is the second Hampshire player to qualify in the under 11 boys section of the Challengers.
