Sparsholt expect to strengthen their Southern Electric Premier League, Division 2 promotion claims when an anticipated weakened Totton & Eling II side arrives at the Norman Edwards Ground tomorrow.
Andy Worth’s side have climbed into second place, albeit some 22 points behind title favourites Rowledge, after a recent run of wins.
Totton, in contrast, have slipped into serious relegation trouble on the back of some adverse results and OTs & Romsey’s resurgence.
Rowledge host fourth placed Calmore Sports, who must win on the Surrey border to keep their fading promotion hopes alive.
Mike Proudley gets the call up for Calmore.
Calmore Sports: Vann, Lavelle, Johns, Perry, Rose, Pegler, Woodhall, West, Proudley, Donovan, Croft.
Third-placed Hartley Wintney host Portsmouth, with revitalised OTs & Romsey hosting unpredictable Paultons.
