Romsey’s U12 girls won their first away match of the season at Trojans.
The first period saw Romsey break away fairly early on with well placed balls coming up through the midfield with Alice Appleton and Maddy Gale supporting each other and Phoebe Peters and Katie Smart holding their positions on the wings.
The first goal for Romsey came from a ball set up by Alice Appleton and finished off by an accurate shot at goal from Tessa Drake.
Romsey continued to apply the pressure with a second goal coming soon after the first from Appleton.
The second period started much the same as the first with goalie Daisy Richardson not having much to worry about with defenders Sophie Davidson, Ellie Hanslip, Lola Field and Lucy Taylor-Blake blocking any Trojans attacks.
The third Romsey goal came from Appleton and several short corners for Romsey followed with Jennie Barnard and Catherine Clarke narrowly missing shots at goal.
