ENGLAND will be hoping talismanic skipper Alex Danson is fit to play in their Champions Trophy quarter final tomorrow.
The Southampton-born striker missed last night’s 4-1 loss to Argentina that left England bottom of their four-team group.
Danson was still recovering from the concussion she received in England’s 2-1 loss to Australia last weekend.
The former Trojans starlet, 29, was taken to hospital after leaving the stadium on a stretcher.
Having missed the 1-1 draw with Germany, Danson was named among the subs yesterday but did not get on as England conceded three goals in the last 10 minutes.
On this evidence, England will more than cope without their talismanic forward, Alex Danson, after Germany gamely held on for a 1-1 draw on Sunday at the Champions Trophy in Mendoza.
