SOUTHAMPTON Diving Academy came out on top when they locked horns in their annual tournament with Berlin.

Emily Martin claimed gold in both the 3m springboard and platform events whilst Tanya Watson took both silvers.

Madeleine Angell was also a double gold medallist, while Lucy Hawkins won silver and bronze on 3m and platform respectively.

Sarah White won gold on Platform and bronze in her 3m competition, while Gemma McArthur joined her on the podium for her Platform event to collect bronze.

The SDA boys in the youngest category dominated the platform event, Brandon Foster winning gold ahead of Angus Kerr and Cameron Gammage.

Foster won silver in the 3m springboard event and Kerr took bronze.

Max Cott won double silver for the older boys and Scott Palmer achieved bronze in the Platform event and 4th on 3m springboard.

Southampton head coach Lindsey Fraser said: “We always look forward to our annual meet with Berlin.

“As well as giving our top divers exposure to a different group of divers, our German friends always push us hard, making it all the more fun.”
